XCA Annual Special Awards


The Ballesteros Award
is given to the Xolo accumulating the most points in breed competition in the year.
The Calvo Award
is given to the Xolo accumulating the most points in all-breed competition for the year.
The Carol Fernandez Award
is given to the Coated Xolo accumulating the most points in all-breed competition for the year.

Eligibility Requirments for XCA Special Awards

The owner must be a member in good standing of XCA for the duration of the competition year (Jan 1st thru Dec. 31st of the same year) and the entire year of the award presentation.

The dog must be registered with AKC FSS.

The dog must be shown at venues that provide verifiable show results:
AKC Miscellaneous Class

Canadian Kennel Club Events
A.R.B.A.,
I.A.B.C.A.,
Rarities
UKC, FCI, FCM, and XCA events.

Dogs may also receive XCA points for wins at AKC sanctioned "B" matches that provide classes for rare breeds.

In order to be credited for points, exhibitors must have a show win result form signed by both the show secretary and the judge on the day of the show. The form must be filled out completely. A copy of one of the following must be attached, show premium, flier, catalogue front and identifying page,
or show win picture.
A separate form must be used for each event entered.
